Why rapeseed wax?
At Fiamma Candles, I create candles made from 100% natural rapeseed wax—an eco-friendly, sustainable, and plant-based choice. My selection of wax is no coincidence—rapeseed wax is the perfect combination of quality, sustainability, and aesthetics.
Why Rapeseed Wax?
When choosing a candle, scent and appearance are not the only factors that matter. The type of wax plays a significant role in how the candle burns, its environmental impact, and its longevity.
I have chosen rapeseed wax because it:
is sustainable and natural, free from harmful substances,
burns cleanly and evenly, without producing soot,
ensures a longer burn time and enhances the candle’s durability,
is hypoallergenic.
Handcrafted with Love and Attention to Detail
Each Fiamma Candle is carefully handcrafted and designed to bring warmth and light into your home. Additionally, rapeseed wax provides a smooth surface, beautifully holds fragrances and colors, and allows for the elegant shapes that define my products.
Instructions for Safe Use
Before Lighting:
Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface (e.g., a ceramic dish or metal holder) and ensure the surface is flat and stable.
Keep the candle away from flammable materials such as curtains, paper, and wood, as well as from drafts that may cause uneven burning.
While Burning:
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
To prevent soot buildup, trim the wick to approximately 0.5 cm before lighting, if necessary.
For the first burn, allow the candle to melt evenly across the entire surface to the edges. This helps prevent tunneling and extends the candle’s lifespan.
After Use:
Do not move or tilt the candle while it is burning. Allow the wax to cool completely before handling.
Always extinguish the candle with a snuffer or by blowing it out carefully to avoid any splattering of hot wax.
Safety Tips:
Ensure proper ventilation in the room while burning candles.
Keep candles at least 10 cm apart from each other or other objects to prevent overheating.
By following these guidelines, you will extend the life of your candles while creating a warm and safe atmosphere in your home.
